Conveniently located in our purpose-built premises on the main Falmouth Road, close to Cobbs Cross corner, Seagull Inflatables is run by Kirsti and Jason Pickering and owned by Dino Bruschi and Canter de Jager. We have been operating since 1987 and as such we are a well-established marine liferaft and life-saving appliance service station, tender and outboard repair and servicing facility and inflatable repair shop.
We have 5 highly experienced full time technicians, who can service and certify the full range of marine life rafts, life-saving appliances, GMDSS radio installations, yacht tenders and fixed fire suppression systems.

- Liferaft Services: Inspection, repacking, sales, and certification of liferafts from leading manufacturers like RFD, Survitec Zodiac, Crewsaver, Ocean Safety, Plastimo, SEAGO, Arimar, and SeaSafe.

Dinghies and Tenders
As you might have guessed from the name of the company, we are specialists in the sales and servicing of all kinds of marine inflatables. We sell and service inflatable dinghies, RIBs, paddle boards, fenders, paddling pools and bouncy castles. We conduct repairs of GRP hulls, Hypalon, PVC and other materials.
For dinghies beyond repair, we offer a re-tubing service and we can also re-paint topsides or anti-foul your lower hull. If you are in the market for a new dinghy we can ship you a new one from our trusted suppliers; SEAGO • Carib Marine • AB • Zodiac • Highfield and Bombard.
Portable and Fixed Fire Extinguishers
Sales and servicing of fire fighting equipment and portable fire extinguishers, including dry powder ABC, CO2 and FOAM, as well as clean agents such as FM200 and Novec 1230. We can also send our technician to carry out periodic inspections and re-certifications of your on-board fixed fire suppression systems.
We are agents for ANSUL kitchen fire supression systems and we can help with everything from period inspections, installation of new systems or re commisioning after a fire. We also offer hydrostatic testing of FE and BA cylinders and air purity testing.
Outboards
We sell, repair, service, winterise or re-spray a wide range of outboard brands including Yamaha, Mercury, Tohatsu, Suzuki and Honda. If we don’t have what you need in stock we can get it from one of our reputable suppliers based in the US or Europe.

Fabric Covers for Tenders, Fenders and Pontoons
If you need it covered we can make what you need. Design and construction of full boat covers, pontoon covers, chaps, full board covers or outboard cowling covers.
We also repair and sell a wide range fenders and fender covers, including brands such as Prostock and Aere.
GMDSS Radio Installation and Inspection
We can inspect and certify all your ships Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) equipment, including all the radio and communication apparatus. We make an initial assessment of the ships radio documentation, inspect and functionally test each piece of equipment, including the back up power supply, document the inspection and issue certification as appropriate.
ANSUL R102 Kitchen Fire Suppression System Installation and Inspection
We are certified Ansul R102 kitchen fire suppression system engineers. We can maintain, conduct annual inspections and re certify your current fire impression system. If you don’t already have an Ansul system we can come and do an initial inspection of your cooking lines and design, propose and install a new system from scratch.
What are your prices or fees?
We have fixed inspection fees for liferaft and safety equipment servicing but the final price you pay will depend on exactly what replacements, repairs and extra tests are needed on top of the basic inspection. This in turn depends on the age, service history and condition of individual items. If you send us a list of the equipment you need servicing, including model, brand and a copy of the last cert, we will be very happy to make you an estimate. The same goes for dinghy or inflatable repair projects. For our modest stock retail products we can supply specific pricing on request and we are also happy to make a quote for custom orders. Please just ask.

Do you have a product catalogue?
No. Although we do carry a limited stock of spare parts and other products we are not primarily a retail outlet or mail order business. However, we are agents for many companies, including all those you see featured on this website. Let us know what you need and if we dont have it in stock we will give you a quote and lead time for delivery.
Do you carry stocks of equipment and spare parts?
Yes we carry a stock of all spare parts normally used in our servicing business. Although we are not primarily a retail outlet we also carry a limited stock of other products and can get you anything produced by the suppliers listed on this website, given enough time. Please just ask and we can give you a quote and lead time for delivery.
How long will it take to service or repair my equipment?
We have a team of fast and experienced technicians but it is more or less impossible to predict repair or service times before we have had chance to inspect the equipment in question. A small dinghy leak can take an hour whereas re-tubing can take a week. Just let us know what you need doing and we can make you a price and time estimate.
Can you collect our broken equipment?
Yes we can. Prices vary depending on size of equipment and location but we have our own trucks and we can always work something out.
Can you haul or launch my dinghy?
Yes, we can haul or launch you, using our trailer or yours, at our local slip @ Sammies yard, conveniently situated in the NE corner of Falmouth Harbour. If you would prefer something close to you, we can pick up anywhere on island where there is a slip, crane or travel hoist. Extra fees may apply for distant locations and use of lifting equipment or access to other commercial yards and slips.
Can you repair equipment shipped from other islands?
Yes we can. Just send it to us and we can take it from there. We are also happy to give advice on shipping if you need help. Just let us know.
Can I watch my equipment being serviced?
We have a viewing window that allows all visitors to our office to see into the workshop and servicing area. For efficiency and health and safety reasons we do not allow clients to spend long periods of time in the servicing area but we are more than happy to arrange for you to see your unpacked liferaft and to spend a limited amount of time viewing your equipment as it is inspected and serviced.
